Visit by Michael and Peggy Strode
On Friday (20th April) trustees attended a talk in the parish church by Peggy Strode about the lost Sepulchral Chapel of the Strode/Barnard Family. Peggy and husband Michael were invited to see the almshouses on Saturday morning.
R.I.P. Roy Duffield
On 15th February, trustees attended the parish church for the funeral of resident Roy Duffield who passed away on 18th January 2018. R.I.P. Roy
Knit & Chat Tea
Today (6th March 2018) the Shepton Mallet Knit & Chat Group held an afternoon tea to announce their chosen charity for this year. Last year Shepton Mallet Almshouses were chosen, and welcomed donations amounting to £1500 from our generous benefactors.
